Know before you go (pre-procedure instructions):
If you have any medical condition that requires antibiotics before dental procedures, please arrange with your physician to acquire their recommended dosage before tattooing.
If you have EVER (even once as a child) had a fever blister or cold sore, IT IS REQUIRED that you get a prescription for an anti-viral such as Valtrex, Zovirax or Acyclovir before your lip or lip liner appointment. Please request oral dosages, not salves.
If you wear contact lenses, please wear your glasses to your eyeliner appointment. You must wear glasses for 72 hours post-procedure. After that, you may use clean/new contacts once again.
If you take ANY blood thinning supplements (including aspirin or aspirin substitute products, St. John's Wort, Evening Primrose Oil, Gingko Biloba, vitamins A& E), consider discontinuing their use for 48 hours prior to your procedure. IF YOU ARE TAKING THESE OR ANY OTHER MEDICATIONS AS PRESCRIBED BY YOUR DOCTOR, DO NOT DISCONTINUE THEIR USE. SIMPLY INFORM YOUR TECHNICIAN THAT YOU ARE TAKING BLOOD THINNERS & WHY.
Try to keep caffeine consumption minimal before your appointment.
Makeup may not be worn on the treated area for 72 hours post-procedure. Please buy new mascara and lipsticks to wear after the healing period.
IMPORTANT:
Cosmetic tattooing, while permanent, does require maintenance. Individual results will vary. One controllable variant is ultra-violet exposure. ALL ultra-violet exposure will fade your investment prematurely (including tanning beds).
* Always wear sunscreen
* Use sunglasses
* Avoid excessive sun exposure
Please do not tan (indoors or outdoors) 3 days prior to and through the healing process of your PMU procedure for best results.
